Building Traffic to Your Site

I’ve only recently become interested in the whole Search Engine Optimization idea and have come across some really useful websites, including this one, which offer some really great tips and techniques for increasing website traffic. One site which I really like is that of V7N. The CEO John Scott offers a wealth of information that is both practical and useful when creating a website. His site also has a great forum lobby, where website designers, developers or other technology related professionals can discuss and share ideas. I found the members to be extremely helpful and prompt when replying to members’ questions.

After reading a lot of the posts by other members I have been able to acquire a lot of insight into better driving traffic to my website. These days it seems so difficult to make your website stand out from the crowd and make it known amongst the numerous others that offer the same kind of information. I hope that by further studies in the area of search engine optimization that I can further increase traffic that I’ve missed out on.

In the past I had relied heavily on friends to pass on information about my site to their friends or colleagues or through various networking conferences I had attended. Currently, I still rely on banner advertisements that I have on several other sites that I have built relationships with.
